i fixed it myself manually and didn't mail it back to microsoft
its easy and you can do it yourself look at that website ( step by step repair guide that solves the most xbox 360 common problems permanently)

Um, best help I can give you is the towel trick. Just look it up on youtube.
Most red-light problems (at least the ones that require you to send the 360 in for repairs) are hardware issues - not software ones. There's not a program that will fix it, you actually have to replace certain parts.
